"BD-E" is the second revision of BD with a improved stepping, etc. Llano is mainstream. BD is mainstream/high end. I never said "enthusiast". However we'll only know for a fact when it is released.
Which is exactly why I said go with a PH II X2 instead of a 1055T,even though a 1055T doesn't cost much more. Not everyone has a microcenter to get a dirt cheap 2500K.
What extra features? It's a die shrink of Sandy Bridge, its not a new architecture.
22nm and 3D Tri-Gate transistors are what IB brings, which is increase performance, improved power management, and higher overclocking.
I googled "BD-E" and was not able to get any hits for that, could you provide a link?
I've already linked several euro prices and the Intel build would provide about 40% more PPD than a 1090T while costing less overall thus providing greater price vs performance without having to sell the new chip in a few months at a loss to obtain something with more desirable performance.
