A mamba with the DA Black Edition's texture would be perfect for me..

Yeah, apparently that's also why they put a 8bit interface in it -.-

Edit: Sorry, that seems to be the case with the Abyssus 3G only...

A Razer Copperhead with a good sensor and preferably wireless would be perfect to me.

I'm curious how their dual sensor really works. I think everyone is jumping the gun about them being a gimmick, when in reality they may actually make for better tracking, as having more sensors averaging out the location, even if one of them is not the most accurate, should theoretically result in better tracking.

At the very least having both sensors should at least let users choose which one they want to use. Razer's optical sensor has been one of the best sensors on the market for years now, and I'm sure there would be a ton of people who would want the Mamba or Imperator's form factor and features.

The DeathAdder has been a great minimalist palm mouse, but for those who want that form factor but also has onboard memory for storing configuration profiles or DPI buttons (and in the case of the Mamba, wireless) have been SOL.

Heck, its a major reason why I don't give my DeathAdder Black a legitimate chance to become my main mouse (aside from the fact that I prefer finger grip). I primarily play BC2 and love using a DPI button to increase my mouse speed for turrets or shooting at Huey's with the auto snipers. I also have a couple different computers I might switch to and from and thus having on-board memory in order to avoid software installs is also something that turns me off to the DA.

Well the last three mamba's I've gone through, didn't squeak at all. The first one which I've bought somewhere last year did squeak right out of the box.

The squeak could easily be fixed with a little grease though and opening up the shell wasn't that hard. Even doable without leaving marks.

Upon closer insepction with a new and old rev mamba, the older ones thats squeeked had some sort of a metalic rod for the wheel while the new ones have plastic or what looks like a smaller metalic rod enclosed with plastic.

The adjustable lift-off distance looks awesome!

When I read "you can configure the system to cutoff tracking at your desired distance once the mouse has been lifted" I was like "whaaaaaaaaat?"

Every time I see a manufacturer come out with higher and higher CPI, that nobody in their right mind would use, it reminds me of this:
