5870's i believe are quite a bit more than 6850's. I'm spendin like 300.

well since your budget $300 at the moment with two 6850 of course your going to get huge performance boost then single 6950. but if u plan on xfering another 6950 later on definitely get 6950 for now and save up.

I'd agree with the 2 6790s, it will still be really fast, but it sounds way faster than it is. If you can find a version with a custom pcb that would be even bigger that would also make it look faster. Assuming whoever is buying this computer doesnt know much about computers (because really, who buys a computer and knows what they're doing?) any pictures of a case full of video cards would just have a ridiculous wow factor.
