why would you assume that.

sli/crossfire setups from the high end all exist currently, he says no system can do it currently. That means what you just said is wrong. I'm not saying you are wrong, The DEV is.

This all probably deals with Tessellation though, as there is really no limit but the original high poly render. People fail to realize what tessellation is truly capable of.

You will be more than okay, tired of half of these people thinking that you're gonna need a GTX 780 quad sli graphics setup to max this at most resolutions. Yes, you will need a decent setup... but I could easily see a single 580 performing just fine at 1920x1080.

q6600 and 800 gts is minimum

or

E8400

I guess

LOL @ everyone panicking.

this will be exactly like Crysis 2: "OMG, the first one was so demanding, the second one will melt my computer". Yeah right.

Crysis 2 ran fine on Gamer with my secondary rig: Pentium D 945 @ 4ghz, 3gb RAM and an overclocked 8800GT.

I'm not saying BF3 will run on the same setup, but it won't be the monster everyone thinks it is.

If anything, I would expect to see the Q6600 as the recommended CPU.

I keep forgetting that graphics isn't the only thing PC has to offer xD But I feel so much emphasis on it xD

He went on to claim that the computer that will be able to run BF3 on Full settings has yet to be Built.

..Doesn't feel nor sound "comforting" xD Is he sure? Not even 3 GTX 580s? (w/c is absurd already)

xD

I'm sure what he said was just hyperbole. Two GTX 580's will max this game at 1080p I am certain...

Thread Starter
im confused about when he said "He went on to claim that the computer that will be able to run BF3 on Full settings has yet to be Built." does that mean in general (i doubt it, im sure 2 590's could run it on max) or did he mean in dice studio's. they have not built one yet

He is just spewing nonsense and trolling you all. If no current build system can max it out, then how did they test it
