i find it hard to believe it will be brand new. maybe you'll get lucky and theres a nice surprise in side the box

good luck homie.
you rarely get a new card for an rma. it's usually a refurbished part that they send you back

Honestly I'm not surprised I ended up with the same card again. I would be surprised if it's the same card repaired. It wouldn't display video at all on post. No beeps from the power cables not being plugged in either.

Hilarious!!!

so my out part number just changed to.... 012-P3-1470-AR

after I already bought a GTX580 SC.

I couldn't resist though. I really wanted to swap up to a 580 anyway. Now to find a waterblock for the 580. I'm selling the 470 to a friend who is still suffering with a 8800GTS 320mb for about 125$.

Probably should've waited til the RMA was complete before buying a new card. Although as a previous 470 owner and a current 580 owner, there is a nice performance increase.

Probably so, but I was already planning on an upgrade when the 285 died on me. I was using it a bit with the new SB build when it crapped out about 2 days after I got everything together.

I sort of already planned on selling the RMA'd card and buying a 580 SC and then an Acetal/Copper EK block to go with it. I've also had poor luck overclocking vanilla EVGA cards from step up or RMA. So I figured I'd get on an SC 580 while they're still 489$ with a 30$ MIR.
