Hi guys, I just installed windows from my slow 250GB HDD to my SSD and initiated the install from the OS. And now I can't boot directly from the SSD, I have boot through the HDD which (I guess) tells the BIOS to boot from the SSD. But without that it won't initiate the boot sequence. I know this has to do with installing from Windows. If I try to boot from the SSD the "_" just flashes at the BIOS, so I'm wondering if there is anything I can do to fix this. I already tried removing the HDD boot profile from msconfig, but that doesn't help.
Yes there is. Make the ssd the boot device boot with the windows disk into recovery console.
Then enter
Fixboot
Fixmbr
Exit
Try again
