But really whats the difference Between Wireless G and N?
the DSL-U2650 i get from the ISP that is Wireless G.
so whats the difference really? whats better for downloads and gaming? (my old router couldn't let me download at normal speeds and play games with low ping..).

Basically wireless G isnt as quick as wireless N, the Dlink 615 can be firmware flashed with DD-WRT if you want to play around with it, and its cheap as chips if you need to replace it in future. My money is on the 615.

Hmm. I have one and I like it. It should handle your 10MB/s speed just fine. I have RR Turbo which is rated at 15MB/s and I pull around 25-30MB/s on my wired conections. My wireless pulls about 15-18MB/s tops and is the only router in the apartment complex on channell 10.

Wireless range is pretty good. I can drive about a quarter mile from my apartment with the router in the basement before my phone loses connection to it.

File transfer between 2 wireless computers using a DWA-130 adapter is pretty horrible. I set it to N mode only and did all the tweaking D-Links Forum said to do to get it to run in 300 MB/s (adapters only 150 MB/s) 1-2 MB/s max between PC's whereas wired pulls 10 MB/s. Pretty frustrating considering I can re-download a file faster than transfering it wirelessly between computers.

For the price, it really is a good router with a lot of options!

EDIT: Wireless G 54MB/s and Wireless N 300MB/s (In this case). You have to switch to N only mode to get 300 though, mixed runs at 150 or whatever the device connected to it can handle b/g/n. Mixed is what I have to use because of my phone, my wii, and my kids DSI's..

DIR-615

N also is a range boost. The wireless reaches further than b or g band routers.

If your PC's are going to be hard wired, it still will do a better job protecting your network than that the all in one will. It has more configuration options too. (Probably won't use any.

It has 2 antenna's versus the all in one's single antenna.
