Is my 850W PSU enough?

Thread Starter
PC Build in sig, basically, I want to get an aftermarket cooler (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835181010), two of (http://www.arctic.ac/en/p/cooling/vg...us.html?c=2182) one for each card, as well as unlock my 6950s.

At some point, I also want to have RAID-1 set up with two better hard drives than the one I have now for OS and games and have a storage drive.

I have no idea how much power I need/use. Before I bought my PSU, newegg's calculator told me I needed 900+ W, but I saw a ton of people get by with xfired 6950s on 850 Watts when I tried to google it, and so far I'm running completely fine. Anyway, if I do get all of the above stuff, would I have enough power? I feel like I'd be cutting it close, but I really have no clue how much I'm using right now.

It's fine.

Also, mechanical HDD's generally use 5-15w depending on drive.

Somehow this guy did mostly the same stuff with a 5.0 GHz overclock on the 2600k with a 750 W PSU so I feel better (

).

Thanks for the reply.

That 850 would be enough, even if you plan to unlock those 6950's. Hell, i would make a wild guess that even a quality 750w would do the trick.
