Let the boys out

Decided it was time for a nice blow, and picture shoot. Boys got all cleaned up and here they are. Please note... All pictures are from my phone. Sorry about that I have a fund setup for donations towards a nice N

We start off with Big Papa. He's sporting a i7 950, GTX 480, GTS 450, (3) 1TB Western Digital Blacks and a 80GB Intel SSD. Held all together by the magnificent Corsair 800D and cooled by a Corsair H70

Papa favors Windows 7, however will talk to bigshot on occasion. Papa enjoys long games of Counter Strike Source, intergalactic fighting with Captain Shepard, and the occasional round of Black ops Zombies. Papa can't wait for Battlefield 3 and he expects a new GTX 580 on release data. Ladies this boy is a gold digger. If you don't have money then don't even bother. There is one requirement for first dates, papa needs new headphones. His cheap turtle beach headset just won't do anymore.

Next up is Mr. Bigshot. He is sporting an i7 2600k @ 4.6ghz. Hold onto your pants for this one. A GeForce 6200A makes him a classic. (1) 2TB Samsung F4, (3) Western Digital Blacks, (1) Hitachi 500GB boot drive. All held together in a VERY cramped Antec 300

He runs my network. I like to call him the NAS but when you get down to it he's a folding champ. He likes long lines of bash script and won't even reply to an email sent from Outlook or Windows Mail. Right now he's into Linux Mint but he's open to Arch but shy's away from Ubuntu. His owner makes him communicate with Windows but he doesn't do it nicely. This eligible bachelor only has 1 Hard drive slot left. If you want into his CPU then you're gonna need to bring some more F4's. Space is tight and it get's hot in there. Come ready!

Number 3 is that child you always wish didn't live at home. He's sloppy, put together on a drunken night in the back of a SUV. He may be a mess but if you give the boy a chance he'll steal your CPU away.

He wanted to be just like Big Papa. He's sporting a "stolen" i7 950. The original motherboard for him was a nice Foxconn Bloodrage. However his memory controller died forcing his owner to go to Microcenter 5 mins before they closed and spending more money on this freeloader. He sports a nice GTS 450 that can't be folded on as it would cause PPD loss. Like his big brother, he too doesn't play nice with Windows. He talks when he feels like it. His samba need updating. Because he trys to make everyone happy he also runs Linux Mint but on occasion after a long talk with papa he changes his settings and boots into the Windows partition. He's cooled with a used Corsair A70 which does a semi nice job.

Up next is Small, Dusty, and Handsome. He's well known for playing full 30GB blu-ray rips and never stuttering. He folds SMP and soon will get his GTS 450 back. He used to be the family NAS but he's been demoted to a hard drive less, video card absent machine. He's not on the market yet but ladies watch out. He'll be coming with his Lord of the Rings Extended Cut blu-ray set on June 28th

At the moment they produce

117k PPD. My main machine is on SMP because I'm home for the summer and I'm actually using it.

I know some people organize their boxes. I do too. I like to keep them next to the cat food

One last picture. My poor air conditioner. I hope all of you will pray for it
61*F or 16*C and my ambient temps are 80*F or 27*C

Machine 1 and 3 costs $80 a month to run. Machine 2 costs around $25. Machine 4 costs nothing as it's not plugged in . My AC unit costs $112 a month to run at full blast. Between repairs, new computers, and power bills. My folding for 6 months has cost $1302 in electricity, $1000+ in computer parts, and one nice phone call from my power company asking what the heck I'm doing. Plug wise, I added 2 nice 20 amp breakers for my room alone. I also have a shared 20amp that came with it. I pull close to 4800 watts through my whole room. I need to add another breaker for more computers soon The upside is when people come to my house I tell them I'm hacking the government and they believe me

That's all for now. Below you will find the specs of each machine if you wish
