Need an opinion

I was looking into buying an ssd (>$120) and was looking at the Crucial M$ 64gb but just saw this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-408-_-Product on the daily deals @ newegg. My question is, is it worth biting on this? Storage space is nice, but the speed is slower. How are these things over all?

Well, reviews look ok on it. For $107, I might just grab it. Anyone own one that can give a recommendation?

Since you are coming from a hard drive, anything will feel a lot faster. I just bought a 128Gb M4 last night, after reading many reviews, I got it for only $190. My opinion is that it's not that much more money to get a nice size new generation drive, if you want to upgrade, why go with old technology?

If I could find the M4 for $190, I'd probably go for it. But the cheapest I could find was closer to $220. $220 vs $107 is a bit of a difference.

Well you could get the C400, which is the same thing as the M4 but has more random write IOPS. Superbiiz has it for $200 after a coupon: https://www.superbiiz.com/detail.php...tate-Drive-MLC.

Not sure if you would spend that much...

If I may ask, where did you find the m4 for $190?

Well, I found out about the new customer code to get $10 off so I went for it. 100 gigs for under 100 bucks is fine with me to get my feet wet.

It was $190 at superbiiz.com yesterday but the coupon expired and it is back up to $220.
