Thread Starter
Does anyone have an estimate as to when the black-on-black PBT keycaps will be back in stock at tankguys?

Thanks
Skuloth

My guess is we'll see more when we get the next large batch of keyboards. I expect that's likely at least a month out right now.

Never had a mechanical keyboard before. Been using the Logitech Illuminated for several years and need something else. Like the Shine keyboard I've seen pictures of but need something asap.

Seems to be alot of options. Das, Steelseries, Filco, Ducky, Razer, etc...

Tried the Razer locally at Microcenter but didn't like the "click" or the shiny finish.

After a bit of reading, it seems the brown switches would be best for me I think.

Ideally would be to have them all here to compare but obviously that can't happen!

I think its either a Ducky 9008-G2 or Filco Majestouch.

What is best keyboard out there money no consideration?

Topre Realforce. But that's like $300+.

With tenkey: Ducky 9008-G2
Tenkeyless: Noppoo Choc Mini

Noppoo choc mini is way smaller than a standard tenkeyless is and is designed for specialized uses IIRC (like coding)

I personally love my filco majestouch 2 tenkeyless to death. It has brown switches, but comes in blue black brown and I think red. Filcos are incredibly solid keyboards to the point I'm pretty sure I could chop a tree down with it and not damage the keyboard. I'd be willing to say you'd be happy with pretty much any mechanical keyboard you find tho, although I personally feel that razor products are very lacking in quality compared to pretty much any other mechanical keyboard manufacturer.

Good luck with your search man.

i own a 6gv2 and a das keyboard (brown) and i honestly love the browns better because i dont get fatigue in my fingers when im using them like i do with the 6gv2 if u type a lot do not get blacks at all or u will start feeling it after a couple of months like me. If u live next to a J&R u can actaully go try them out das keyboards they have blue and browns glglgl on ur pick~

thanks to the OP with the kbt keycaps! i want some black on black keycaps too i didnt know where to buy them -,- until now xD

I love my Filco Majestouch Black Tenkeyless aka Filco Majestouch Ninja Tenkeyless Japanese Edition to death. Check the link in my sig. You can only get mine in Japan. The ninja is the same thing but with an american keyboard layout. They don't have blue switch models on Amazon but that wouldn't matter to you since you don't like the click. I think you'll like browns. Blue is for typing. The tactile feedback and click are a great combination. Brown is just tactile with no click. Black is linear which means it's just smooth all the way to the bottom. Black is really stiff to me. Reds are the same thing but not as stiff. I like the blues, reds, and browns best. Topre is really smooth too.

Anyways, this thread got derailed quickly.

Bump, only other option is ebay from China, 2 week delivery.

These are laser etched and should also fit Leopold correct?

Thanks!
