Help solve my audio/TOSlink input problem

I've got the sound card listed in my sig rig and a set of z-5500's. I've also got, in the same room using the same speakers, my HDTV and my Xbox 360. I use my 360 for streaming my HD movies from my computer, so right now it's got the TOSlink cable. My sound card has TOSlink out, as well, but I'm not using it because the z-5500's only have three inputs -- a TOSlink, a coax and a set of the orange/green/black stereo inputs. I want to run my computer to it through TOSlink, as well, but I can't.

So what should I do? I was thinking of getting a little TOSlink-to-coax converter box and trying that. The other option was a switch, like this one. I'm trying to keep the costs low, but it's not really a determining factor as both options will come out to about the same.

My only hesitation is that I'll lose sound quality with the switch. Anybody got any insight into the matter?

Thanks.

A TOS to Coax converter will work fine, a TOS selector switch will be fine too, you won't lose any quality.

Unless you need the composite/s-video of the switch you linked, this will better suit your needs as it is cheaper.

I'm looking at getting my hands on a cheaper version of the switch I linked, so hence cost not being too big an issue. I also like it because it's got a remote, whereas the one in question is manual.

My main concern was loss of sound quality, though, so thank you for clearing that up.

Why not use hdmi? Blue ray content is getting sampled down to 16bit with the toslink

There's no HDMI pass-through on the z-5500.
