Capture cards for Xbox?

Thread Starter
So I don't know where this belongs, but since it has to do with the 360 I figured here. I would like to start recording my game play. The thing is I don't know what I need or how to use a capture card. I was thinking about getting the dazzle DVC100 because it's cheap, and I've heard it's good. So for some help I've added some Q&A...

Q: What do I need?

A:IDK

Q: How do I use it?

A: No idea

Q: What will I be recording?

A: MW2 game-play(mostly)

Q: Budget?

A: No more than $50 including any cables I need

If there is anything else I need to know that would be great if you could add it in.

Thanks for helping

I don't have for PC...Well would that Dazzle work for at least decent playback? If it's more then $50 for HD then I won't do HD, I'll just use 480p. But how do I use the Dazzle?

To use a dazzle (if you buy new) you will need some splitters if your TV does not have an A/V Out. Splitters will let you view your console on the TV and PC at the same time (on PC with the software the Dazzle comes with). You will also need an A/V cable to got from the splitters to the Dazzle.

The Dazzle does not record in HD, only 480i (didn't think it could do p).

I used to own a Dazzle. Now I use a Blackmagic Intensity Shuttle.

Can you link the cables? I have no idea what you just said, haha. I'm not good with the whole TV, video, audio stuff. My TV is a 26" Insignia. I'm not sure if it has A/V out.
