I think that story is pretty incredible.. just its bomb bay doors opening gave it away.
As for stealth technology, the author said it's a big "if" if this will happen and they develop working versions of this, but that being said - I'm sure as some posters have pointed out, that the US will find another way again (or has already) to overcome that obstacle.
I think stealth works off of a couple things, first the angling of the aircraft to physically lower how much of it would be hit at once with a wave of radar and then, two, absorbing what does hit it (technically leaving a shadow I would think). I'm also pretty certain the US could develop some kind of broadcaster that would broadcast radar waves or whatever freq is being used either, back or from other directions to confuse the machines and detections of whoever is tracking.
....and that's my 1:23am thinking (it's late for me and I can't fall asleep, maybe i'll try getting off the computer first
