[Work Log] Baby Dragon Is Growing Up [56k - Warning]

Well it looks like luck is not on my side when it comes to finding a summer job, but by the looks of it I am still a lucky man. (yes, there is going to be some back story here)

A few weeks ago I was woken up by my cellphone going off, dazed and confused I answered it, it was a good friend of mine who is essentially my brother. He asked if I was awake and a couple other questions I don't remember because no, at that point I was not awake...

He then puts his fiancé's father on the phone, still half asleep I was curious why he was doing this (I had only met his fiancé's father once)

He then goes on to tell me that he is compacting and rebuilding all the computers in his house and that when he was done I could have his old Thermaltake case.

I totally forgot about this conversation until last night when my friend's fiancé called me and said that if i could stop by in the morning her dad would give me that case.

well it turns out that the case in question was a Thermaltake Xaser III without the side window option.

After finding this out I was ready to crap myself...

When I opened it this is what I found:

Inside was a HUGE mess of cables and.... A Gigabyte Motherboard, a Athalon Processor, and a PNY Video Card with what looked to be an after market Zalman GPU Fan + Heat Sync. At this point I was kinda mad that Doc gave me all this.

Either way the build continued, I emptied everything out and started to move my rig into its new home.

The size difference startled me at first, then I came to like it.

This thing is just too pretty...

All the stuff that was in it.

I don't think the inside of this case has ever been cleaned, this was with filters...

The move begins.

All done, that AC7PR2 looks lost in this huge case...

Lol, yea sorry guys, I did not want to fight with making a Photobucket account or something of the sort so I just used the "public" folder in my Dropbox, these are the full uncompressed 7mp photos from my piece of crap Point and shoot camera.

Buy Photoshop or download GIMP for free and scale down the resolution and image size. That will resolve the problem of the uncompressed 7mp photos.

Took me this long but I did finally get around to re-sizing all the pictures, total of 2.2mb instead of the over 15 before, lol

Unfortunitally I had to end up ditching this case because of temp issues and the fact that my 212+ would not fit in it lol
