Superlux HD668B

Of course all headphones perform better with a dedicated sound card... however, do the Superlux H668B's really need a dedicated sound card? Or will the Realtek ALC892 be enough? Also does it need extra amps to perform better, as provided by either an Asus Xonar DS/DG?

I currently sold my Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio as there was no difference between it and my ALC892... So my question is... should a get an Asus Xonar DS/DG? If so which?

You'll be fine, they're really easy to drive. I'm currently using them with the Xonar DG since my onboard has issues (ALC662). HD668B + Exciter Mode = possible hearing loss.
