Keyboard typing incorrect numbers

I run tech support for a local title company and a new problem arose today on only one of our computers. They use a website called data tree to obtain documents, and they need to print them. For some reason, when they go to the "print" menu or hit ctrl+p, they are unable to key in specific pages that they would like to print. For example, when they hit the "2", it keys in a "6" into the blank. None of the numbers will key in the correct number that is pressed. I know this may be confusing to understand, but I am attempting to describe it clearly. The problem happens when they are using the numbers above the alphabet, and the number pad to the right. The numbers work fine in ANYTHING else. This problem only occurs within the print menu on datatree.com. When I called them, they simply told me to "talk to me tech support". After informing them that they were talking to the tech support, they told me to simply install my printer drivers. Clearly, they do not know how to fix this problem, and neither do I. Any information would be amazing.

Welcome to OCN.

I recommend a secret decoder ring. Type 6 for 2. 2 for 6. Etc.

Then I would find an alternative to DataTree. Their tech support sucks.

That is really out there and is most likely the website's problem. The only thing I can think of is to work around it by typing the numbers in another program and then copy pasting them over. If that doesn't work you may just have to write a key of what each number really is on their website if they aren't going to fix it.

Remind me to not get title insurance at your office.

The chance for typos seems high.

xD It is ONLY in that program, and ONLY when trying to print. And it seems completely random.. I get what you are saying that 2=6 then 6=2, but it doesn't work that way. Oh well.. I guess we will just have to copy and paste.
