These things do go out once in a while. Good thing is that they're dirt cheap.

OK, just by a whim, I move all the SATA ports around and disabled the Marvell controller. Low and behold it works! Boot time is also quicker. So I'm thinking there was a conflict with the Marvell controller on my board.

So, since this is a new board, should I try to debug it or just return it?
