exchanging Kingston KHX1600C9D3K4/8GX to something better (P8P67PRO)

in combination with Asus motherboard P8P67PRO.

This memory (4 modules), was advised to me at the shop, on the basis of my question for the correct memory for an Asus motherboard P8P67PRO.

The rig has, since assembly however, frequently reported overclock errors etcetera, whereas there is no overclocking (not on cpu, gpu nor mem).
I only have put the setting for the memory modules (in the bios) to XMP, just like it should.
Just today, the complete system stalled again. The only option to get it starting up again is by pushing the MemOK!-button. The red LED did glow continuously.
The manual states on that: "'Installing Dimms that are incompatible with the motherboard may cause system failure, and the DRAM_LED near the MemOK!switch lights continuously'."
So, incompatible memory, which might explain the many reboots to present.

I am going to swap the memory to more compatible ones for this particular motherboard.
The manual of the motherboard also states, "'to obtain the best performance of the XMP Dimm or 1600Mhz Dimm, install only one DIMM on each memory channel'."
Therefore it seems to be better to opt for 2x4GB instead of 4x2Gb.

I have some options to choose from.
Apart from the price, which one would be best?

opt 1: Corsair 2x4GB, DDR3, PC16000, CL9, XMS3
opt 2: Mushkin 2x4GB, DDR3, PC12800, CL7, Redline FrostByte
opt 3: Kingston 2x4GB, DDR3, PC12800, CL9, HyperX, XMP
opt 4: Mushkin 2x4GB, DDR3, PC16000, CL9, Blackline
opt 5: Mushkin 2x4GB, DDR3, PC16000, CL9, Ridgeback

Like to hear from you.
greets,
j0p3Y,
The Netherlands

i would recommend you get g-skill

somehow i have seen people talk best about them when compatibility is concerned

my friend has corsair and has the same problem, he also posted a topic about that a few days ago, he cant get his memory to work over 1340 and it should work at 1600 with xmp, and let's not forget that it should be overclockable to even more

edit:
you can check out the list of compatible memory modules

Hi,
just now I've called the shop where I bought the Kingston memory. I put in an RMA some weeks ago.
I bought those Kingston because they advised them to me. 1,65V ánd 4 banks in use. Both things that are far from optimal.

Asked them when the Corsair Low Profile memory will come in. (Low Profile because of my Mugen2-heatsink I have little space).

It's this memory I now have my eyes on:

http://www.corsair.com/memory/vengeance/vengeance-low-profile-8gb-dual-channel-ddr3-memory-kit-cml8gx3m2a1600c9.html

It's no CAS7, it's quite a problem finding them with low profile. The G-Skills won't fit as well...

What do you think?
