What case for Crossfire 6950s? - Page 2

6950 is as long as motherboard is so i guess just go with one you want or 69x0 cards are 11 inches long?

im running thermaltake armour (original one) and they fit fine. dunno how much the tower costs for you guys over there, when i got it it was expensive but i dont think they are now.

The 6950s would be the VTX3D models, they seem to be going for outrageously low prices, which definitely dont look like reference models...
All the motherboards listed allow one empty slot between 2 cards in CF. So, it is ok here.

Radeon 6950 VTX3D dumps heat inside the case and so I would recommend these cases, with the aim of a 'top exhaust' approach (ie removing the hot exhaust from the cards inside the case via the case top):

a. CM Elite 370 Black - £29 (low cost)

Agreed with the 690 II per my earlier post. If you don't want to splurge for something like the HAF 932, you can't go wrong with the 690 II.

ok thanks, whats the difference between the 690 vanilla and advanced? Is it worth the extra?
