ASUS P8P67 variations

Thread Starter
Hey guys, what are the differences between these motherboards:

ASUS P8H67-M EVO s1155 u$s 205
ASUS P8H67-M LE s1155 u$s 160
ASUS P8H67-M PRO s1155 u$s 185
ASUS P8H67-V s1155 u$s 175
ASUS P8P67 s1155 u$s 255
ASUS P8P67 DELUXE s1155 u$s 355
ASUS P8P67-M s1155 u$s 192

What does LE, EVO and -V stand for? I want no crossfire nor SLI, but good overclocking compatibilities (with VRM if possible) and the lowest price as I don't care about everything else.

What would you say?

If you look at all the links at the top of our Club you can look at the differences

Or are you too lazy to check it yourself?

LE is a "light edition" (i have no clue if that is what it stands for, but it has some features stripped from it)
EVO is "Evolution" (it has some added features to the Pro)

Basically Vanilla < Pro < Evo < Deluxe.

As to the V..I haven't the slightest. Maybe hinting at TurboV feature?

IMHO the Pro is the best bang for your buck for what you're looking at. I used to have the Pro and it overclocked my 2600K to 5GHz with HT On at 1.44V. It's a nice board and the only reason why I downgraded to mATX is because I wanted a smaller build.

I was just checking the differences but between a PRO and and EVO board, the only difference is:

- Dual lan vs intel lan
- Additional heatsink

Which for me has no sense at all (as in, getting the PRO would be the obvious choice).

Any -M board only removes additional pci slots, right?

And that is one of the reasons the PRO is probably the most sold 1155 board in the World

M-Pro is Mini ATX and has lesser bios features. But feel free to check the links.

Mini-ITX just doesn't work for overclockers. Get the P8P67 Pro and don't look back
