At 1000Hz 800CPI is fine, but it consumes to much CPU resources for my taste. I turned mousepad 45° to see if it changes someting and it does. I'll borrow and try different mousepad tomorrow.

Ah that'd be nice, I was thinking it might be your mousepad.

I tried my Spawn on different machine and OS, without CM drivers. Unfortunately with the same results. First I tried my mousepad, and later Goliathus Control. There are some differences but Spawn still jitters at 800 CPI. 1000Hz or 1800CPI + 4/11 are the best solutions for me so far. I'll try to get another mousepad.

Have you checked for any particles in the sensor e.g. dust? Also have you made sure the mousepad is clean? Finally have you tried it on 500hz and on different usb ports? I'm not trying to be condescending I'm just very curious about how this tracks on 800 dpi. Thanks in advance.

Yes I cleaned sensor with compressed air. I tried different USB ports too. My mousepad isn't clean, but I use it as a mousepad. I don't clean my hands with it and don't blow my nose up at it. 1800 or even 3500 CPI are fine. There is some jitter at 500 and 125Hz, and none at 1000Hz. 250Hz is affected mostly.

i have an offtopic question for cm hardware rep. would cm consider making a mouse that has the shape of an mx300 with sensor from microsoft mice which seems to be abandoned (sensor from intellimouse, not to be mistaken), or with adns-2020 (from the original mx300), with the adition of ultra thin wire like a4tech had in the past? 400dpi FTW

Both sensors were exclusive to MS or Logitech, so I would say no.

that kinda makes me sad.

SteelSeries, Zowie, Logitech mice all are quite equal, with couple of exeptions (notice that Logitech makes cheapo laptop mice also).
Xai's surface is ok. (will wear out a bit but not very noticable)

It all depends if user sweats a lot or not.

The surface of my Xai looks still really good, even after a lot of usage.
