BattleField Bad Company 2 glitches?

Thread Starter
So I have just started experiencing some weird things with BattleField Bad Company 2. The game will randomly switch my weapons without any of my input. It is rather annoying, has anyone else experienced this or know how to get rid of it? thanks.

Nope.
Never heard of such thing.
Maybe its your mouse wheel to blame.

I have the same problem, I've always assumed my mouse wheel is broken.

Never happen to me before. What mouse are you using?

Speaking of glitches, I still have that bug when you zoom in for the very first time, it zooms out again even though you're still in scope. Annoying as hell.

I hate that glitch. It cost me a good amount of kills.

Back on topic: Try a different mouse or keyboard. One of your weapon keybinds could be sticky.
What's going on.

That is a common one. Happens to anyone . Try to zoom in in the first seconds after you spawn and that's what you get ... annoying.

do you have a microsoft mouse? if not what mouse do you have? the wheel mouse optical, intellimouse optical 1.1, intellimouse explorer 3.0 all have a scroll wheel bug. basically the scroll wheel will randomly scroll up on its own. I do not know what other microsoft mice (or other brands) that have the problem but the ones I listed are for sure to be plagued by that problem.

Yeah it is a Microsoft mouse. But I figured out that it is not a bug or a glitch, rather my finger rubs against the wheel ever so slightly and that is what causes my weapons to switch...

Haha! The culprit is the ever-sensitive scroll wheel.
