Crossfire question

Thread Starter
I would like to crossfire for BF3 and was wondering if I needed the same video card or could I use a similar one with the same preformance?

Here is my GPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814102913

I don't believe you can with the 6 series. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. You could with the 5 series but wasn't optimal from what I read. Just grab another card as the game gets closer and the card drops in price.

In this case you COULD use a HD 6850 or a HD 6870 but I don't recommend using HD 6850 sense your current one would underclock to the speeds of the HD 6850 - this in a sentense: You can only use a HD 6870 to CrossFire your card.
