What am I doing wrong? 1090t Overclock

Thread Starter
So I tried a couple of attempts OC'ing my 1090t to 4GHz.

20x Multipler
1.38v
200MHz NB
C1E, Turboboost, Cool@Quite Off.

It was unstable after two attempts of P95. I was having fairly good temps with a max of 55-60c.

I also know about the Mosfet and VRM stability issues with my board, please to not warn me about the issue.. I am well aware.

Thanks InerTia*

Isnt that quite a bit? Thanks

Max is 1.55v so 1.4 isn't bad. At least it's not bad for your CPU, well you said you are aware of the problem with your motherboard...

I believe 1.55v is the max vcore but on average people seem to use about 1.45-1.48 for 4ghz.

Well I tried 1.4v and the last worker in P95 was always failing. I tried it multiple times. No luck. Suggestions?

Is it truly my voltage or am I missing something else that would cause instabilities?
ur cpu wants more voltage. Give 1.5 and if it passes keep dropping the voltage until it becomes unstable.
