This is what I use:


They sound very nice to my ears. People say they are the same as the MDR-V6's so you would probably be better off getting them.

Same driver as MDR-V6. Since they're closed cans, they're not that great for gaming.

I got the A700s on a musiland 02 monitor and im loving them so far. But it doesnt work too well for gaming. I havent tried them out extensively in game but i played bfb2 for about 10min and some sounds were coming from off places.

I am rather disturbed by the whole open headphones are better for gaming notion. I would take my Ultrasone over my Sennheiser any day of the week in gaming and that's not only in soundstage and positioning either.

Agreed. I like my MD's because they block out noise/loud people in the background,and help me focus on the game. They also sound very nice, very clear, not TOO much bass but it is certainly there. Plenty of bass for the music I listen to, Rock/Metal.
