I have 8 rigs, 8 gtx 570's, 36 cores, 590x2, 5970x2, and a 6990

They are mainly used by my friends when we game @ my house.

I also use them to make and upload videos to youtube to make my money.

I was thinking the 5870 would be cheap, I was wrong, will probably go 6950, the WB's are cheap too.

Holy mother of Jesus.

I can haz best frand? ;D

LOTS of people have scooped up the 5870s for Bitcoin mining leaving the market supply low, pushing the price up.

Supply and demand, it's not like that isn't the basis of our economy or anything...

5870's are more expensive than 480's and 570's lol.

I thought my 5870 was worth only like 150 since brand new ones were like 180 AR a few weeks ago. But somebody just offered me 220 for it...so I'm torn about selling it. I think I might just pull the trigger and let it go I guess...

I don't get it. What's so good about that card that would make somebody buy it at those prices?

I'm guessing $200 was a clearance price for most retailers and they managed to dump most of their excess 5870 stock.
