Critique my potential build!

Thread Starter
Hey guys, I'm thinking about putting this rig together.

with this graphics card http://www.directcanada.com/products...anufacture=MSI

I might go SLI in the future, that is why I went with a 850W PSU.

Thanks for the advice!

Everything you picked looks great. That heatsink should have no issue with keeping temps down as you overclock (I'm assuming you will be pushing this chip ) Although as for the PSU, I'm not sure how much that one is or where you're getting it from, but I would go with a PC Power & Cooling PSU. They last FOREVER and are probably some of the best made power supplies out there. Check 'em out!

Good luck

Thanks for the advice, do you guys think a 60gb SSD can fit a couple of games on it alongside the OS?

The Samsung spinpoint F3 is better even though it is SATA II?

I dont know anything about the F3, so I can't vouch for it, but unless you have a hard drive that has 3gbps read or write speeds, the sata version wont make a whole lot of difference..
Though if your interested in RAID, I'd definitely go for a pair of F4s, mine have the sequential read and writes of a low end SSD and I only paid 70 for the pair of them

F3 spin point is an amazing drive. I have one and love it. Very fast for a mechanical he'd. And yes a 60gb ssd should fit a few games on there as well. Stick with a corsair psu as well. Good luck with the build my friend
