@pioneerisloud maxed out with No AA?

Everything is default for me in NVCP too.
I get about 42 FPS with no AA. 36 is maxed out with 16x QCSAA.

I get ~33-34 ish fps when OC'd all settings very high, dx 10, no aa, is the fps you're getting at stock? If so, damn my cpu is holding me back somewhat.

Thread Starter
yeah stock settings.

Just ran the benchmark test with OC, Average 37.05 fps. I guess my card is normal and Crysis really is poorly optimized

I need to hurry up and try this out for myself. I'm a little surprised that Crysis is still such a hardware killer, but then again it didn't get it's rep for nothing.

Crysis is an unoptimized piece of crap. Don't worry about it. (:

i have a gtx 560 ti at 930/2300 core/mem clock. 4gb 1600mhz ddr3, and an i5-2500k. i get around 35 fps 1080p 2x anti aliasing, everything else maxed in warhead, and about 32 in the original crysis. i think you sound about right. dont forget crysis is still an incredibly demanding game.

That's normal for that resolution/aspect ratio. It might be slightly low, but nothing "wrong".

Crysis is much more demanding at 16:9 regardless of resolution. At 1600x1200, I get over 50FPS according to the benchmark at Very High on the same video card...

...yet at 1920x1080...

The first result was one run, the second was three. It's slightly higher than yours, but within margin, so nothing is wrong. However, my GeForce GTX 560 Ti is not overclocked (not counting the petite factory overclock of 850MHz vs stock reference 822MHz), so if yours is overclocked, again, it might be slightly low.

I only get about 40-50FPS on High with 8xAA @ 1680x1050 with my 560Ti. I have tried Very High with DX10 with max AA and get just under 30fps. I think my CPU is holding back a few frames though.
