Possible to move data to new hard drives?

Hi, I've got two 500gb 7200rpm regular old hdds with lots of games and media and other things on them, and I've been wanting to upgrade to faster hdds or even ssds, and I was wondering if I got new drives, is it possible to transfer everything on the two exactly the way it was to the new drives, and if so, how?

You can image the harddrives which creates an exact replica that can be restored to the new drives. I've used macrium reflect free several times with great success.

http://www.macrium.com/reflectfree.asp

When upgrading boot disk with OS on it, the way I've done it is use macrium reflect to copy disk image to another drive (I use a usb external). The program also has a tool that creates a boot disk. I create this CD, boot from it, and use the included wizards to copy image off of usb external to the new harddrive.

Yes. You just create two separate images. During the restore process you pick which goes where. In your case you'd restore one image to one disk and the other to the second disk.
