If you want to tinker, try setting up some custom lighting for your case. You can pick up a bunch of LED's, wire resistors, and a breadboard off of ebay or from a local store and create some really cool lighting effects. I'm currently working on putting lighting behind my motherboard and in my reservoir, all for less than $20.

I know the itch to upgrade is hard to resist, but it just isn't worth it with your current rig.

Get 2600k and get IB when it comes out?

Balla keep saying IB will fit into 1155.

That's probably what I'm doing in August.

It would be awesome if ivy will fit on 1155 but what if it doesn't and 2600k is as good as it gets? Ya I think I'll get some uv cathodes or something

If you have the money, wait for SB-E. Your processor is in no need for an upgrade (but I understand if you just have to have the best available). The upside of upgrading to SB now is that IB will just be a drop-in upgrade next year....
