Get something like this plastic crate and you can zip tie your parts to it.

I ran my sigrig caseless for a few years. Just put it on the mobo box it came in lol. I put it on the top shelf of my desk and left it alone. Ran cool, was loud, and was awesome. My cats even stayed away from it 100%.

Do what I hope to do in my future home: Mount your parts on a wall.
Not just randomly, either. With aesthetic in mind. Create some art.

I've been running in the sunbeam tech bench for quite awhile now, haven't had any issues. It was a cheap solution, as i was in a similar situation.

After buying my WC components I'm sort of stuck with it unless i want to cut up a brand new case now, but truthfully unless you have kids or animals running around you shouldn't have any difficulties unless you live in a pigsty or have lots of company over all the time. I personally smoke in my room and haven't had any issues with that either. Temps have been great as well, so cooling isn't an issue. Just keep it clean with air or a compressor and your fine. I think it looks rad without a case too, people that do see it think so as well

EDIT 06/10/2011 Well I planned on giving you a link to buy the case but a quick google search shows newegg out of stock and only one i can find it almost 80$ i paid 30 or so so that "cheap solution" is out the window

Do you think it would fit a NH-D14 horizontally? I have a feeling it wont be constrained vertically. smile.gif

Thanks for all the suggestions so far everyone
