So why is it Apple can take this idea but Samsung can't copy the STYLE of iOS in their TouchWiz interface?
Of course they would reject an app that has functionality that they are planning to implement themselves, and no doubt it used private APIs which Apple clearly says shouldn't be used.
Apple didn't steal this app: There were hundreds, if not more, of people asking for this feature. Do you really think Apple didn't think about it? Or how to do it? Do you really think they weren't planning it? Of course they were.
They didn't "lift" the name, how else would you explain wirelessly syncing? Do you really think Apple wouldn't have been able to come up with "WiFi" and "Sync" on their own?
The logo consists of two icons ALREADY in iOS simply joined together? It's not like it was some unique logo (which I would agree with you on). Apple are smart enough to put two of their icons together to make this logo, even had this app never existed. Perhaps they did decide to copy it, perhaps they didn't, no one will ever know, but the logo isn't unique enough to say it is for sure.
Functionality? It's not like Apple has stolen the code in his app. They've written functionality into the OS that does the same thing, but so much better. There's only so many ways, so many names, and so many logos, for a feature that "Wirelessly syncs" to your computer.
