Ah good, I'm guessing those were the minimum req. or were they the "to play this game best" req?

Either way seems to be fairly low requirements, by the time this game drops 6950/70s should be fairly cheap, even cheaper if 7k series is out. Hoping one of those cards can run it maxed or near maxed at 1080.

Recommended, not minimum. Recommended is for 1080p medium ? I really don't know the settings you could use using the recommended system specs.

DICE still have yet to reveal BF3's official specs.

Those specs over @ BF3Blog or whatever it's called = fake.

i like how everyone freaks out about graphics cards

you dont need a sick gpu to get high settings on these games

to get dumb things like the shadows that the grass has on other grass u might need an sli setup

but a 6950 or 560 ti or even a 460 and 6850 is going to be more then enough

You can't be civil and mature? 69xx aren't the best cards, but they scale better than 570s and do better in most cases. 580s are the best, but only if you got money to tri-SLI them, cause anything less and you could get 6970s that would out perform for the same price.

Did I say they were bad. I NEVER said that.

They are good cards, drivers could be reviewed..I see new versions / fix every couple days...Just to fix small problems..

I guess you are trying to make a big fanboy comment here. I never said they were bad.

Also, I'm out of here.

Take note you're going on my ignore list, I don't need a kid to piss me off. Go and try to sell your cards now

Firstly I'm probably older than you, second you said their scaling was worse and then called the sites all "fanboys". You seem to be the one that's immature and can't accept facts. Also, is blocking me supposed to hurt me? You just saved me trouble

So in estimation would you say I could buy a 6970 this summer and still have a reasonably fun BF3 gaming experience.

PS: Thanks for all the Replies!
