Upgrade to Maximus IV Extreme?

hmm, I don't see very many comparison to the MIV and the WS Revolution for those in the know which do you guys think is better for OC. I know that they have many things in common but which would benefit me if I plan on doing SLI GTX 580 and finding my max overclock?

Both clock very well. It's down to the slot layout, the fact that the revo supports quadfire, and the bells and whistles of the m4e. Oh and the revo pricing is awesome.

im going crazy...

either won't do quad sli (four physical nvidia cards). The rog series are very nice but the extra cost goes towards extra gadgets that are nice to have but not in any way crucial. I owned a Rampage 3 Extreme, what a great mb but these extra goodies don't matter in pushing your oc. Save the money and go w/ the WS and put the extra cash towards another gtx 580, which either will do triple sli.

As wermad said, nvidia can't do quad. It's a driver limitation. But the revo is the only that can do quadfire, amd. Wermad and I both have revos. The one thing though for the UD7 and M4E, they have fullcover mb blocks, and the revo doesn't.

I wanted the WS Revo to have a full board block, it would look nice with a waterblock. Whatev, I guess I'm keeping the WB. I like the blue theme anywho haha thanks!

don't worry about the mb block, its more form than function (just bling tbh). Get true water loop with a great cpu block and fullcover gpu blocks
