[Kotaku] Here, Thirteen Minutes of Modern Warfare 3 Gameplay Footage - Page 11

Lots of "on the rails" boring shooting.
Very lacking sound design
Lack of expected physics upgrades(smoke unaffected by rotor downdraft, etc.)
Graphics unimproved, looks very 2007ish
Lazy and incorrect modeling everywhere
etc. etc.

not even touching on story belivability or accuracy. I've gathered it's supposed to be an action movie in video game form. Believability and accuracy go out the window.

Kotick is the game video game version of Uwe Boll.

Michael Bay movies may be without direction or believable stories, but they're at least entertaining in some way usually, and have some good technical value.
Uwe Boll movies, are poor writing, poor story, poorly directed acting, poor technical value, poor cinematic value, just overall poor quality films.

SP looks like it could be some fun, I enjoyed MW and MW2's SP. Now whether they choose to support PC with their basic necessary features for MP determines if they get a cent from me.

Off topic. I find it amusing that whenever a COD related thread pops up it always get more views and generally more comments than any other threads. People sure love to jump on the hate wagon .

Activision can keep their CoD games on the consoles for all I care. The franchise died to me after MW1.

To everyone complaining about the "cod hate", there wouldn't be hate if they actually did something more than reskin the same game year after year. There was no "cod hate" when Call of Duty 1, 2, and 4 came out, because they were something new, and great overall games. When CoD finally brings something new to the table other than new maps, guns, perks and a different lighting and setting, then you can say that it's blind hate, but until then it's all justified. If no one criticized anyone when something becomes stagnant, then it would continue to be stagnant and nothing new would ever come. Note how no one EVER said it was a bad game, it just makes no sense to spend $60 on something that is equivalent to a $10-$15 DLC. They also said that BF3 will be better, which of course, there's no way of knowing right now, but by the way it's looking, BF3 looks like the better game, to me at least.

It's just sad that it seems that only PC gamers realize this, because, to quote Yatzhee, "This game is selling like hotcakes, lodged in a Harry Potter book, sectoring Hermoine's bi-curios phase." I just hope to god that someday they will wake up and realize that they're paying $60 every year for a reskin of something they bought in 2007.

i gathered this much while i managed to stay awake:

you escape from a crashed vehicle, guy throws you a mag like you have none, then you procede to reload 100409249 times with your m4 within a few minutes. And then you fight off tons of HINDS with a single BLACKHAWK.

ive bought every COD up till now like a sucker and will not be wasting any more of my money on this one.

Another note on that.

Has anyone that watched this vid besides myself played Red Faction 2? Doesn't the whole air combat scene remind you a lot of the one earlier on in the game w/ Shrike as you're chasing down the Chancellor?
