[Kotaku] Here, Thirteen Minutes of Modern Warfare 3 Gameplay Footage - Page 10

Am I the only one who thought the story writing of that video was slightly farfetched and ridiculous? Why would it make sense strategically for an enemy to hold-up in the NYSE? It's obvious some war is going on, it's not like retaking it would get wallstreet back up and running lol. It's a small confined building, it's not like it could be used as a sniper's nest or a forward command base.

It seems like they're just using it for shock and awe, which seems really silly to me. Where does the next battle take place? On the roof of the Empire State Building fighting King Kong?

Well, lets just say after MW2, farfetched and ridiculous isn't surprising at all. The gameplay seems pretty good but really nothing new.

Why do you always have to start in some crash in every cod game? There's always a mission like that. :/ This game is going to be just another rehash. And since Kotick doesn't give a tiny crap about PC, i'm not even interested.

As a PC Gamer, i'm looking forward for BF3, but i will not preorder it and will base my judgement after the game is out. Dice showed me that they could mess up hard with BC2 (and the crapp console controls and hud), so i'm not just going go give them my all my moneys.

Even though, i am eagerly waiting for BF3. The graphics look amazing, and the SP gameplay looked pretty interesting, but i want to see some Multiplayer gameplay since that's what i'm interested on.

I think most every one has made good points about this but ya know what I'm buying it anyway. I am guessing the PC version will look alot better than this console version.

I think i fell asleep half way thru... so bad
post #98 of 154
for the first time, im not psyced for a COD game.
ive just started playing cod a few years ago (started with COD4)
its really beginning to look the same now. treyarch tends to spice up things a little bit, while IW seems to keep the same ol shiz.
i like the dual sights tho. ive seen this kind of thing b4 in real military so that makes me a little happy, but not by much.

IW better make stuff more awesome, because it looks boring as hell compared to...
BATTLEFIELD THREE! OMG BF3 WILL BE GOTY AND WILL CRUSH ALL OF THIS COD FILTH!

Wow that was so boring, same junk again?? After the last COD game I just stopped caring and I still reckon that the first one was the most fun of the series.

On another note, BF3 is gonna kick CODs ass so bad lol.

Can't wait for BF3!!!
