Safe Pushing Past 1.55V?

How dangerous is it pushing over 1.55V assuming temps aren't an issue. Under load, I'm just under 1.5 and my temps don't go over 37C.
Obviously, if I go over 1.5V then I'll probably need a new motherboard first but assuming temps and my mobo aren't an issue, how safe would it be and how far could I go?

People told me that getting that high with my 1055T was not safe with the cooling I was using. I honestly, wouldn't risk going that high yet until your absolutely sure thats what you want to do to OC higher. Maybe wait to get new parts and more cooling.

I would definitely not go over 1.55v on air cooling. Once you get above 1.55 the temps start to become unstable. As i am sure you know the max temp is 62c and I prefer to stay under 55c tops. If you dont plan on keeping the CPU for long then sure, but you will eventually start seeing some degrading of the CPU over time. Basically, the more heat and voltage pumped into it, the quicker the cpu will degrade.

Above 1.55v you will start getting faster degradation, so it's kind of not safe. It won't instafry or anything, and would last couple of years at 1.6v.

You can go as far as you want. If going past 1.55v was safe, then you wouldn't even be asking. You already know it's unsafe, so now it's just up to you and how willing you are to kill the chip.

Yeah, it's safe, as long as you can keep the CPU tempature below 55C, Your good to go, but be aware that over 1.55V you will see faster degradeation on your CPU, meaning that it might not last at least 3 years, if your lucky, you could still get more than 3 years

I pushed my 620 to 3.51 Ghz on 1.425 volt . and its stable with prime95 . going above 1.55 may result frying your chip , but AMD did sure a great job building these chips , so i say very very carefully go ahead ,but not too much

Max temp of the AII series is 71 , so watch out for those temps . i wouldnt go above 60-65 .

Nah, it won't just fry like that, unless you're going like 1.65v+ on air.
