Motherboard Decision

Thread Starter
Hey everybody,

I'm trying to get the best motherboard I can afford and so far I have 3 options I am looking at..

Budget R5000.00 ZAR (South African Rand)

ASUS RAMPAGE III EXTREME - BLACK EDITION
GIGABYTE G1.Assassin Motherboard
EVGA X58 Classified 4-Way SLI

1. Gaming Purposes
2. Has to support the best Graphics Cards on the market.
3. As much ram as possible (Not sure whether this is ReAlly Needed?)

Another question: Should I be looking for a 64bit machine? and if so is there a better 64bit machine on the market in comparison with the 32bit machines listed or suggested?

Also if you have other Motherboard suggestions that would be better (spec wise) and within my budget constraints, please let me know. with a link to the mobo.

Defo the rampage III extreme!

You will want/need 64 bit,

Ram tbh 12gb will be plenty you can always wack 24gb in on a later date its not the amount its the quality of the ram that counts

Get 12gb of corsair dominator gt ram!
