AMD desperately needs more laptop market share which is bigger than the desktop market iirc. Lots of money to be made in that market and this looks like it may do it.

Waiting for Thinkpad T series with this, Then other things that will utilize the igpu 24/7 in desktop format.

Forget BD, this is going to have a much greater impact on personal computing as whole.

The GPU shaders could be replacing the FP pipeline in CPUs in the future to increase performance drastically.

In the mean time, faster parts at the same TDP for laptops.

I think so too..

Man... I can't wait for the HP DM1z e350 successor! I should have bought em from BB when they were just 379.99 with 7200rpm drives and 3gb memory xD

I hope the llano successor's just about 50 bucks more expensive

Why would you want an APU? Try using more context words, it's extremely hard to understand what subject you're referring to.

Anyways, APUs provide solid computing power, low TDP and power usage, low cost, and most importantly, an integrated graphics processor. These are all wonderful traits for consumer budget pcs and laptops. As an enthusiast it may not appeal to you, but should provide far more graphics power than we have ever seen (without a discreet card of course).
