Calling is just a much more effective way of communication.
An APU takes a IGP on the motherboard and integrates it into the CPU.
Since the GPU is closely linked to the CPU,more efficient processing occurs.
An APU is great for laptops,budget desktops,SFF PC's,and HTPC's,APU's will also deliver better & affordable graphics to the mainstream.
Calling isn't always more efficient. Things like privacy can be an issue,as well as when you are in a noisy area where a call cannot be efficiently made. Or sometimes you don't feel like talking to someone.Edited by Heavy MG - 6/12/11 at 1:01am
