Looking for some feedback/advice on 2500k OC

Thread Starter
Hi guys,

I just recently paired an i5-2500k with an ASRock P67 Extreme4 motherboard. I've been slowly adjusting voltage settings trying to get a stable 4.4GHz, but I'm a little surprised by the results I've seen. For stability at 4.4 here's what I'm currently looking at in the BIOS:

Core V: 1.344V (jumps up to 1.352 during IntelBurn)
Load Line Level: 5
DRAM: 1.5V
PCH: 1.059
CPU PLL: 1.832
VTT: 1.051
VCCSA: .925

Now, is it just me or are those core and PLL numbers much higher than normal for 4.4? The PLL is set to "auto" in the BIOS, by the way. This is my first OC'ing experience, so any feedback would be much appreciated.

I would suggest refraining from any Auto settings when overclocking.

ASRock aren't exactly the best motherboards, so I can't vouch for their overclocking abilities.

Have a look at some other threads regarding 2500k overclocking (there are LOADS) and see what info you can find there.

Definitely interested in this. Thinking about getting this motherboard myself. I've heard that ASRock has been getting better, and is right up there with ASUS and Gigabyte.
