EDIT: It's tuned for a 275w load.

Yeah older Vapochills can be had for pretty low prices. I had some local guys selling them (Sampsa Kurri for example, he was also selling a nice, big cascade system though + some GPU pots, so I bought the pots hehe).

And yeah that looks pretty rough at this point. Would love to see some more when you get to do something to it. You been testing temps yet?

Well if the rig you're talking about is in your sig then it's still pretty cutting edge tongue.gif Though upgrading your cooling is never a bad idea and usually the setups last a lot longer than normal hardware like CPUs or GPUs would. So thumb.gif to that.

there are worse things you could spend money on biggrin.gif

I only had a modded bios for max software volts with that run so I was left with around 770mhz core for the max frequency (up from 575). Looking to get into hw voltmodding but it's somewhat challenging since I'm a complete novice with that stuff. tongue.gif

Also, how long does it take to start up?

When the phase starts up it takes about 20 seconds for it to reach 0C and a further ~20s before it's at the -25C mark which is when I manually fire up the rig. Sometimes there's also a timer on the unit ( I don't actually know when and why it goes through the timer, since most of the time when starting it it doesn't ) that lasts 4 minutes that you get sometimes. So it just counts down from 4 minutes and after that starts up.

I don't really care about the starting time though, I run the setup literally 24/7, unless I'm benching or changing hardware. The ss powers off if the system has a bad failure so I don't have to come home to a completely frozen mobo or something tongue.gif

sure, gimme a few minutes and I'll go take some screens. I haven't been running at 5.3 for a while though because of the high summer ambients that we have here (no air conditioning lol) atm and since the board is new as well I haven't done any recent stress testing with the settings. Might not be even stable.
