Screen goes black BCCode: 116

Okay first off i just recently got some new hardware (CPU,MOBO,RAM)

I installed everything last week and did a fresh install of windows.
Everything boots fine and nothing is currently overclocked.

After about a day my computer screen just went black and i was required to restart to see anything.

Once i got back into windows a box popped up informing me of the problem:
BCCode:116

Iv looked up info and it seems to be a issue with display drivers.

Also note one odd time it happend and i received
BCCode:100000ea'

Witch also points to the video card.

Now iv had this video card for years and its been great until now. Iv never seen this issue till i got the new hardware.

It happens are different times. It happens idling, basic browsing, gaming.
I cant seem to replicate it by any means. Sometimes i can play games for hours with no issues.

Iv installed about 4 different versions of ATi drivers. Iv done 2 complete formats and fresh installs.

Any help will be appreciated.

116 is not a driver issue, it's a hardware issue related to the vid card and or it's subsystem. A driver issue would be crash to desktop, CTD.

Basically, your vid card is not stable. You'll have to check you overclock, and the voltages on your board? Vccio, push that up, check your PLL, etc etc.

Currently both the Vccio and CPU PLL are defaulted to auto.

Have you confirmed your setup is prime stable? How long can you idle w/o a lock up?
