Well I haven't painted mine but I did run into that problem with my h100, the factory black paint made threading the screws uncomfortably tight (luckily I already had the 6-32 tap to clean them up). So I could see it might bring up an issue if alot of paint/primer is put down. I've painted alot of things with threaded holes before though and often 'mask' the holes with round toothpick stubs (trimmed to stick out about 1/8" from the item for easy removal afterwards). But all things considered, I will likely change the color of my frame at some point but I plan to wrap it with vinyl so I can cover up all those extra holes I don't use and add to the clean look. Panel-wise though, I have yet to see anybody tackle wrapping vinyl around all those corners and would probably just paint, but no threaded screw holes to contend with there though.
