Which one do you prefer, Tango? I really want a case that looks good and that will last (:

And, the C70 is much bigger than the Lanboy?

C70 = Steel
LBA = Plastic

I prefer my LBA because its my main rig, my pride and joy, my C70 is my work horse, and the new kid on the rack, so they both have their ups and downs at the moment. I do not regret buying either case in any way shape or form.

LBA is better for modding IMO, or for aircooling.
C70 is better for a server, or watercooled, or ocd neatness builds.

Both have different advantages and disadvantages.

Pics:

The C70 is about 2 inches longer front to back. Height and width are near identical.

Hey guys. Love this thread. Since reading all that has been posted I wanted to give a go at modding my lanboy. I am going with a Baltimore Ravens theme. I have bought purple LED fans so far. I have a question. I am replacing the fans in the front and was wondering if it is possible to keep the fan controller with the new fans? Or even how to disconnect the controller from the current fan with out damaging it? Thanks.

I have not seen anybody try to connect the fan controller to another fan... if you have an extra fan and want to give it a go, i think that would help alot of people. Other than that i would buy a fan controller if you dont already own one... amazon has a touch screen one for 10$... ill try to find the link if you would want it...

I have a C70 which is also my main rig. I have a Asus Sabertooth X79 in it which is a 2011 chipset so I can`t be tearing it down and swapping parts with anything else. The case has plenty of room to play with and I just love that case. I love the LanBoy Air because it is fun to mod and the possibilities are endless. I keep coming up with different ideas to change it every day. You can never get bored with a LBA.

I got one a hot swap rack and mounted in a 3.5 to 5.25 adapter plate and the mounted in one of my bays. Here is the link. http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=4323589&Sku=S262-7186

It`s funny you are bringing this up. I just took both of my front fans out and removed the controller knob. I am putting two new fans in and hooking them up to a fan controller. I am thinking of using the empty holes where the old controller knobs were for putting on/off switches for my case lights.
