Ey adamski07, you've obviously crafted a stellar build. Great job, imma have to step it up. i jus had 2 quick questions. The mounting of your reservoir, is that final and intentional? if so what component required you to mount it like that? Also, about your barbs as they affix to the tubing, are those some sort of compression type or have you simply omitted clamps?
Again, great job. And I got the "ARTic" thing right off :?P

Yep it's final. there are no compression fitting used or any clamps.. it's just the fittings and tube connected together with 24 hrs of leakage test. Just make sure to have a clean and straight cut on tube to keep it neat and safe from leakage.

EDIT : Guess I'm the only one who knows how BWG got the 3rd fan bay.. tongue.gif

OK so here's an update:

BFG magna 1200 psu (not fully modular frown.gif
EVGA classified mobo (e759)
NEW CPU WOOT! 980x.3.3ghz (oc 4.1 with dummy oc feature in bios)
8 gigs ddr3 1600 gskill ripjawz (oc 1800)
EVGA gtx 580 sc 1.5 gig kept factory o.c.
(1TB hitachi mech hd (storage)
1 ocz vertex II 240 gig ssd (os)
LG super multi Burner
water stuff:
mcp 655 pump
bitspower res
xspc universal cpu waterblock
heatkiller gpu full cover waterblock

ordered single 120mm stealth rad 2 120 mm slim fans & EK motherboard waterblock

YAY just got my waterblock on the 580. next up= GPU backplate, 2nd rad, motherboard waterblock, black high gloss paint for dvd rom also ad quick disconnect between pump & rad .This may be difficult but i dont want to use angled fittings, only silver barbs, as to not restrict flow since everything including nb/sb will be one loop(ive decided to use the second 580 on my blue lanboy at work since 1 is more than sufficient for any game im currently playing). . & last but not least the sleeeving. I've been considering the purchase of a fully modular psu at least 1200 wtts, with a red & black color scheme (any suggestions?)

GPU waterblock installed

maybe place quick disconnect here?

Hello guys! This is my Lanboy:

700

700

Looks pretty horrible, I know. Do you guys have any tips about cable management? The cables from the H80 looks really ugly, and the PSU cables at the bottom doesn't look good either, but I can't seem to find any good solution worth my time, it's already very tight with cables. Also, the cable running behind the GPU and the H80? How are you supposed to do anything about that?
And finally, do you know any easy-to-do mods?

Cable management can be time consuming as I'm still not done. Your power supply on the bottom is gonna stretch cables to the limit on alot of power supply's. They have a lot of extensions for stuff like your mainboard 24pin plug.

My advice is just run the cables strait back behind the motherboard and zip time them to get the look desired. Try keep them strait and uniform. The fan cables on your H80 also run those guys and if you have to tuck them behind the mobo, and have the cable reappear right in front of the 3/4pin mobo fan plug.

With the lanboy it's hard to hide anything, I bundled all my sata cables right behind the drives with zip ties also so they where no just hanging.

Also you can sleeve cables, it gives ya a cleaner look for where you do see the parts of the cables that you can't hide.

Cable Management is something i've been working on my lanboy since i've owned it, i'm gonna work on it myself today.
