I suck at drawing in MS paint but it's something like that. A mount to hold my Lanboy air on the bottom of the table, and I have two 4 foot tall power strips from Lowes on the back of the two post to hold all the monitors with VESA mounts that have full motion to put them in the correct place. The top 3 monitors will be slanted a little bit to compensate for the height.
9 Monitors for ****s and giggles as well.
21.5" monitors
Mounts
I found cheaper mounts at a local store but they're just like that but for $80 instead.

Which color scheme? 9 monitors, I don't have that kinda money. hence why i havent bought my third yet.

Also I would go with some different mounts, as they make brackets for 3 and 6 monitors mounts.

Some good mounts are a must! I bought one that holds three and believe me 3 monitors is really heavy! Cant imagine 9

Yeah we're making it out of square metal posts for the monitor mounts, and I thought about doing the 1 mount for 3 monitors but it would be hard to adjust them individually to set it how I want. So i'm going with single arm VESA mounts that have full motion rotation to be able to individually move the monitors into place for the best viewing. I might have to end up doing either 6 monitors only (which isn't worth it for me) or get 4 video cards in quad SLI. I don't know if the LANBOY can support that many video cards in it though...

I did black, white, carbon fiber, and clear acrylic for my LANBOY casemod. So I plan on doing black posts, white VESA mounts, carbon fiber legs and support beams and acrylic for the table top.

edit:

And now that I think about it, I might have to scale down the monitor size to like 19" or something due to the huge resolution. I don't think even 4 video cards can support that high of resolution.

Yeah, sadly the way my monitors are designed I don't think it would look right on a mount. All the guts are in the base and the fold up and stick out under the monitor in wall mount position. The monitors themself are only like 1 cm think though.

I most likely will pick up my third monitor tomorrow.

I have two AOC led 21.5 monitors now. I'm considering making my center monitor an AOC led 23

I could go with another 21.5 for $139.99 or 23 for $149.99

When I bought my two AOC monitors I got them for 114.99 each, and i've been waiting and waiting to find a deal on them. No luck so i'm gonna have to fork out money on the third.

Do you all think it will look goofy with a 23 in the middle or should I just stay with the 21.5 and keep them all looking the same?

personally? I'd keep them all the same. But my OCD won't allow different sized ones.biggrin.gif Also remember when getting bigger monitors that means higher resolutions. and in eyefinity it makes a huge difference if you don't have a monster gpu.

Now that I looked up Eyefinity (I currently have AMD) it seems like a good deal. Apparently you can support 6 monitors with 1 video card, I haven't done multiple monitor display in forever which included 3 CRT monitors and a nvidia 6200 lol. Does that mean I have to get a videocard with 6 display ports or how does it work? I'm kind of confused about the whole thing haha

From what I gather is you can run as many monitors as there are outputs. mine for instance has 2 dvi, 1 hdmi and 1 display port. thats 4, I don't know for the life of me how you would get 6 screens off one card. I do also know that if you run xfire you DO NOT get to use all ports. The second card is gpu only and no output!!
So that being said, 9 screens will need 3 cards using 6 dvi and 3 displayport outputs. And you will not get to run in xfire with that many as it will disable the two bottom boards. I did see somewhere that there is a 6 mini DP output card but not sure if it is a card you can buy yet or will be built.

This thing is so confusing lol. I think I got it though, so I can buy say two of these 6870, but not run them in Xfire but still keep the 9~ monitors but don't get to use the 2nd videocard for gained performance?
