strange sleep mode, limited internet use, please help

Thread Starter
I have NO IDEA where to put this thread but i need some help and i have an intel based system so here goes:

My desktop does into this weird inactive mode after about 20+ minutes of non use. When it does this i have to hold the power button to restart it in order to use it again. I have completely disabled sleep mode because of it and it still happens. i dont understand.

I can only do certain things on the internet sometimes. Generally i can browse the web. I cant torrent, i cant log into WoW (it says the login server is down however on my laptop i can log in.), i also cant set up thunderbird for any of my email accounts.

I currently have a $1500+ paper weight with a ton of processing power, please help. My laptop which is WIRED to the same network works just fine, it is solely the desktop that has issues.

Make sure you have download the latest bios for your board. I have the same board and no longer have this issue.

Also make sure you have the option enabled "power on by pcie"
