I got some LEDS, and after I ordered figured out they were 2pin and not 3pin.

Can I connect them like normal to a 3 pin connection? is there an adapter out there to a 3pin? I have looked around and cant seem to find any ...

First off, you need the specs of the LEDs. Depending on what voltage you want to use to power them, you'll most likely need a current limiting resistor (determined from the specs of the LED) to prevent frying the LEDs.

My guess is you got some PWR/Reset LEDs (rated for ~3-5 V), which would naturally fry when connected directly to 12V, which is what is used to power the case fans.
